Q&A With
Cole Graham
In the short term, I am currently preparing for a tour to Australia this November and December with the England Men’s Touch Team. This is all part of the journey towards the Touch World Cup in 2028, where the team will be aiming to push for a top finish at the tournament.
Support from the LouLou Race Foundation enables me to access development opportunities and helps remove the financial burden associated with travel and tournament costs for national and international competitions. This support is essential for my continued development and progression in the sport.
I recently competed at the European Championships with the England Men’s Touch Team, where we won gold in a closely fought final against Ireland. It was an amazing experience and definitely my biggest sporting achievement to date.
My favourite aspects of Touch are the fast-paced nature of the game and the tactical elements. The footwork and skills of all the players at the top level make it a really exciting sport to be involved with.
Outside of Touch, I love surfing and am very lucky to have this in Jersey. I also enjoy going to music festivals and spending time with family and friends.

“I first started playing Touch in a summer league in Jersey when I was 13. Since then, the sport has given me the privilege of representing both Jersey and England, as well as introducing me to many of my closest friends.”
