Governance &
safeguarding

At the Lou Lou Race Foundation, we’re committed to doing things the right way. That means staying transparent, building trust, and protecting the young people at the heart of what we do.

Our council

Our activities are overseen by a group of dedicated Council Members who help shape strategy, review applications, and ensure all decisions reflect our charitable purpose. The Council meets quarterly to review grant applications, fundraising plans and foundation activity. All decisions are recorded in official minutes.

Pete is the bright, unreckonable force behind the LouLou Race Foundation, which he created as a legacy for his late wife, Louise. With a career in executive recruitment, Pete is CEO of Consilium Global Advisors in Jersey and also the Founder and CEO of The Draft, the first GenZ marketplace for opportunity where individuals can showcase their whole self—professional and personal—in one place while being rewarded with connection and community.

He’s the Finance Director of Sealyham Investments, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a Non-Executive Director for the Financial Services Opportunities Investment Fund.

Fintan is also a passionate sportsman and was a teammate and triathlon competitor for Ireland with Louise. He has sat on the Board of Directors of the Leceister Tigers Rugby Union team since 2020 and holds a Non-Executive Directorship with supertri, the Super League Triathlon.

Alistair Rothwell

Together, they co-founded Bracken Rothwell, Chartered Accountants, of which he still serves as a Non-Executive Director, and the independent, Jersey-based fiduciary company Fairway Group, which he serves as CEO and Group Director. In addition to the LouLou Race Foundation, Alistair also sits on several real estate and private equity fund boards.

Safeguarding Young People

The safety and wellbeing of young people is our top priority. We are committed to creating a positive and protective environment across everything we do.

We...

  • Work only with vetted clubs, coaches, and partner organisations
  • Promote a culture of openness, trust and care
  • Provide safeguarding support and guidance to volunteers and partners
  • Expect all supporters to uphold our safeguarding values

Equal Opportunities

We support young people aged 4–24, with a focus on girls and those facing financial or social barriers.

Athletes are selected based on need, potential and passion—whatever their starting point.
