Q&A With
Jack Kennedy
I’m currently working hard to improve my run ahead of my last few races of the season. In September, I’ll be representing Ireland in my first Continental Cup, which I’m very excited for.
The LouLou Foundation has played a massive part in supporting me this season. It has helped me cover travel costs to races and training camps, which are so important to my development as an athlete, as well as given me the confidence to compete against world-class athletes.
My favourite moment so far is winning the Irish National Sprint Championships this season. This was my main goal heading into the season, and I’m really pleased to have achieved it.
I love how the mixture of swim, bike, and run training challenges you in different ways and that there is always something to improve on.
I’ve just graduated from the University of Stirling with an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science and plan on doing a master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Outside of triathlon and studying, I enjoy playing golf for fun.

"I was part of the Jersey Triathlon Club from a young age, which is how I know Louise. Louise was an inspiration to all of us triathletes here in Jersey. The funding from the Lou Lou Race Foundation will help me reach these goals by enabling me to access overseas racing and training camps, which are very important for my development as an athlete."
